Exploring grief through image and shared experience.

About me

Grief is something that comes to us all at some point in our lives; as morbid as that thought may sound, I think it’s important to face our fears about death head on as it’s something that none of us can escape.

I’m Pádraigín and I took the plunge and began my photography journey as a complete beginner in May 2024, 3 months after the death of my sister. It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey over the last 2 years and in starting this blog, I hope to have some way of making sense of the world and my every changing emotions. In the process of sharing my journey, I hope to educate those not yet touched by grief, and also provide a safe space for those grieving so they know that they are not alone.

It’s only when we truly know and understand that we have a limited time on earth – and that we have no way of knowing when our time is up, we will then begin to live each day to the fullest, as if it was the only one we had. – Elizabeth Kubler Ross
